Daily use of TCM
As I arrived at Hung Hom Railway Station for my appointment today, I soon encountered a polite, petite woman who approached me with a smile.
She: (smiling) Sir, do you understand Mandarin?
Me: (pausing to assess) Yes, I do.
She: (softly) I've been waiting for my friend for a long time, but they haven't shown up yet. Could you buy me something to eat?
At that moment, I assessed her demeanor and speech through the lens of traditional Chinese medicine, confirming that her qi and blood were not weak and she could wait a few more hours.
Me: Your qi and blood are still strong; you'll surely meet your friend. Don't worry!
With that, I continued on my way to my gathering.
